A Work in Progress
This series of photographs captures the fluid, unpredictable genesis of a work still very much in progress, a digital window opened at the explicit request of a patron who wishes to follow its online evolution.

What you see here is an unfinished reality, a sequence of shifting moments to which I will continue adding images until the piece finally settles into its definitive form. In negotiating this heavy sheet of Size 56x76cm (22x30") Fabriano Artistico GG Traditional 640g paper, I frequently rotate the surface entirely, forcing myself to confront the composition from an entirely new angle to escape the tyranny of a single perspective. There are days when the struggle demands a radical erasure, where I paint over the entire surface with a single, monochrome layer to start afresh, yet this is never a true erasure, for I actively welcome the history, the quiet archaeology, and the profound layering that remains breathing underneath, allowing the past states of the painting to inform its future.
